These are the terms for using the URC Playoff Predictor. Short version: it's a free fan project, predictions are for fun, and it isn't affiliated with the URC.
What this site is
An independent, fan-built tool for predicting United Rugby Championship playoff outcomes. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the United Rugby Championship, EPCR, any participating club, or any of the leagues' broadcast partners. Team names, logos, and competition data are used for identification and reporting purposes only.
Using the site
- The site is free.
- You can use everything anonymously; signing in only adds cross-device settings.
- You're welcome to share predictions and screenshots.
- Don't abuse the API endpoints, attempt to disrupt service, or impersonate other people.
Predictions are for entertainment
The projection algorithm uses head-to-head history and a few heuristics. It is approximate and intended for fun. Don't use predictions shown here as the basis for betting decisions, financial decisions, or anything else of consequence. We make no warranties about accuracy.
Accounts
Sign-in is via Google OAuth. By signing in you also agree to Google's terms for that part of the flow. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service.
Liability
The site is provided "as is" with no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising out of your use of the site.
Changes & availability
We may modify these terms or change/shut down the site at any time. Major changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, flagged in-app.
